The Scoville Food Institute was founded in 2007 in Erie, PA by self proclaimed foodie & hot sauce aficionado Jon Whaley.

Dedicated to the art of great food at affordable prices, Jon has assembled  a team that works together to create and market some of the finest hot pepper sauces on the market today.

We have also created the Periodic Table of Scoville Units to allow fellow chili-heads to find their favorite pepper, discover its Scoville Heat Units and also see what other, possible heretofore unknown, peppers are close to it in heat level.

We are working towards releasing our first batch of salsa in early 2012 and some other fiery food products. Please check back often for new releases and specials.
